	The National Center for Scientific Research, or CNRS, is a public organization under the responsibility of the French Ministry of Education and Research. Founded in 1939 by governmental decree, the CNRS aims to: Evaluate and carry out all research capable of advancing knowledge and bringing social, cultural, and economic benefits for society. Contribute to the promotion and application of research results. Develop scientific information. Support research training. Participate in the analysis of the national and international scientific climate and its potential for evolution in order to develop a national policy.
	Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne Rhône-Alpes
	Le Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (CLARA) est une initiative lancée et financée par les pouvoirs publics (Institut National du Cancer, Collectivités territoriales et le Fonds Européen de Développement Régional). Il s’inscrit dans le cadre des Plans Cancers nationaux et vise à développer la Recherche en oncologie en Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Depuis 2003, le CLARA fédère les acteurs académiques, cliniques et industriels d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, au service d’une stratégie régionale, nationale et internationale de lutte contre le Cancer dans un double objectif : le transfert rapide des découvertes vers les patients et la valorisation économique de la recherche. Le CLARA développe également des actions en faveur de l’ouverture de la Recherche vers les sciences humaines et sociales et les questions de santé publique, mettant ainsi le patient au cœur de la Recherche. Outre son engagement auprès de l’ensemble des acteurs de la Recherche pour favoriser leur décloisonnement et les collaborations, le CLARA accompagne les projets par le biais d’une offre de services structurée et élaborée en adéquation avec leurs besoins.

	INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR RADIATION RESEARCH (IARR)
	The IARR is an independent organization of radiation research societies which operates at the international level. Its principal aim, as laid down in the 1974 Constitution, is to advance radiation research in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology and medicine by: 1) fostering and maintaining the scientific co-operation and communication between national and regional societies, groups and individual scientists; 2) promoting the organisation of International Congresses of Radiation Research; 3) promoting and facilitating international scientific conferences and symposia; 4) establishing liaison with the International Council of Scientific Unions and with those individual unions whose aims are related to those of the Association, in order to facilitate appropriate representation of radiation research within the ICSU member bodies.
	Labex PRIMES
	The program Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) aims to endow with significant means a set of research units in order to attract world-renowned researchers and to establish a high-level and integrated politic of research, training and valorization. The ambition of this program is to develop scientific originality, to favor multidisciplinary, to increase the excellence and the international visibility of the French research and to play a driving role into the training of both doctorate and master levels. PRIMES’s (Physics, Radiobiology, Medical Imaging, and Simulation) primary objective is to develop new concepts and methods for the exploration, the diagnosis and the therapy of cancer and ageing-related pathologies. PRIMES brings together the complementary skills of 16 recognized academic and medical partners with a long-standing experience to develop state-of-the-art methods, covering all necessary fields, from basic physics, instrumentation, radiobiology, data acquisition and processing, to image reconstruction, simulations and modeling supported by supercomputing. More than 190 researchers and research teachers having complementary skills belong to PRIMES and are located in Lyon and in the surrounding Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region. Several imaging platforms and radiotherapy facilities are available for the LabEx community.
	Fondation ARC
	Reconnue d’utilité publique, la Fondation ARC est la 1e fondation française 100 % dédiée à la recherche sur le cancer. Elle fédère les acteurs du combat contre la maladie et oriente la recherche jusqu’au développement de thérapies efficaces pour tous les patients.
	SIRLAF
	La Société Internationale de Langue Française, qui vise à promouvoir la radiobiologie dans la communauté francophone, fournira une aide de 1000€, qui permettra de délivrer deux bourses (500€ chacune) à deux jeunes chercheurs (Doctorants, post-doc) membres de la SIRLAF de participer au 15thIWRDD.
	PXI - Precision X Rays
	From the first X-RAD designed for the National Cancer Institute in 1998 to today’s advanced X-RAD SmART small animal research platform, Precision X-Ray has led the way in developing and manufacturing the most frequently used x-ray irradiators in the world. To compliment the X-RAD line Precision X-Ray also designs and manufactures small animal fixtures, dose shields and containment devices to aid the researcher in positioning the specimens for x-ray irradiation.
